My husband, then had the audacity to look at me and say “but why was that wrong?”

I mean can you believe this guy? Using rational thought to look at the situation and then question me? His wife? How dare he?!

So then I went to the gym, worked out for an hour, and when I got out replayed the situation in my mind and made a stunning realization.  Holy shit, I completely overreacted and maybe, most probably a tad psychotic.

God- don’t you hate that.  Now I have to go back to my husband and admit defeat.  Then even worse, go back to this mom and be…. nice.

So I figured there had to be a reason for my lapse in sanity.  I called one of my friends.  We lived together freshmen year of college, and she was very into astrology and psychic phenomenons and still is.  Anyway, we are both Aquarius and if I am being totally honest, which I’m pretty sure I’ve established with you, I like zodiac stuff (judge away).  I asked her point blank, “Shelly – were you a total crazy person yesterday?” and she just said “Cristy, I was a total psychopath yesterday.”  She proceeded to say something about an eclipse in the moon of Aquarius, that I don’t totally understand how, but I know it means that if I was crazy it couldn’t be my fault.
BOOM!

It can’t just be that I am just irrational now.  My period isn’t due for a few weeks, so it can’t be that.  It MUST be the moon.  Right because it can NOT just be that it’s me.  Right?

Is it Groundhog Day?

It’s Monday again, and there’s a dance challenge that is out there that I can’t actually do but cannot get enough of watching.  This sounds so familiar… hmmm wasn’t this happening last week? Yes!  But guess what- the internet doesn’t care.

I have to be honest, I can see how this trend could get old but for right now I kind of love it.   Ciara, one of my favorite #inmyfeelingschallenge competitors, just sparked her own internet dance craze with her new song  #levelup

I know what you’re thinking…. what civilian (non professional dancer) can even pull that off? For me, it’s actually been the beauty of the challenge.  People can dance.  Even people that I think, “oh no way she’s going to pull off that dance,” and then Boom she #levelsup

It also really makes me focus on how rhythmically challenged I actually am- but I guess this is not all about me.
