Like some of you, I have recently made my re-entry into society. But getting dressed has become impossible. I just haven’t really bought anything for myself in God knows how long. I knew my clothes needed a little freshening up. Especially looking at all my mom jeans. Love them but I don’t want to go out to dinner wearing them. I went onto shopbop and immediately panicked. There are so many categories. Why are there so many options. I only get about 10 minutes to myself before I have to go cook dinner or get beckoned by one of the kids. How was I going to get through all of this?
On top of time constraints, I was questioning whether I would even know what to buy. If I’m being really honest, after all the controversy surrounding jeans this year, I was scared that if I tried to go this alone, I would inevitably buy a new pair of mom jeans. So I asked my friend, Jenny (@miamistylemom) to help me. Jenny always knows! I asked her to just send me a few things that were a good fit and at least give the appearance that I might be trendy. HERE is a list of a few options she sent me, in case anyone else was looking to enter back into society looking somewhat less cheugy.
